GOD WILL LEAD US INTO THE PROMISED LAND

by Tammyrue

In the old testament of the Bible we find the story of the Israelites and their journey to the Promised Land. We see how they ended up in Egypt and eventually became enslaved by the Egyptians. We see how God raised up Moses as a leader. And how God used him to deliver His people through the miracle of the Red Sea. And on to the border of the land He had promised to give to them. We look on as the Israelites grumble and choose to remain in fear rather than trust God to bring them victoriously into the Promised Land, by believing the negative reports of the fearful men who spied out the land rather than believing the reports of Caleb and Joshua who trusted God and came back with faith filled positive reports. Through our minds eye we watch as the Israelites wander in the wilderness for 40 years because of their lack of faith in God. We see how Moses allowed his frustration with the Israelites to get the better of him so that he struck the rock that God had told him to speak to and we find out that he no longer gets to enter the Promised Land. We see God raise up another leader, Joshua to lead the Israelites across the Jordan and into the Promised Land and see them cross over. Finally!! When they crossed over, their enemies were frightened, seeing how God was leading His people.

How does this relate to us?

40 years ago, at the appointment of Ronald Reagan to the Presidency of the United States of America God set us on a path to an America First and We the People agenda. President Reagan gave a very powerful Inaugural Address on January 20, 1981. Here are some quotes from his Address: “We must act today in order to preserve tomorrow. And let there be no misunderstanding—we are going to begin to act, beginning today.” “In this present crisis, government in not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.” “We are a nation that has a government not the other way around.” “It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.” “Let us renew our determination, our courage and our strength. And let us renew; our faith and our hope.” You really must read his full Inaugural Address.

President Reagan was leading us to our Promised Land. But, it seems that like the Israelites, we grumbled and turned our backs on God when we were standing at the border to that Promised Land. We took, instead, the 40 years of wandering. During that time of wandering, God raised up Donald J. Trump and appointed Him the 45th President of the United States of America. Like President Reagan, he came in with an America first and We the People agenda. Here are some quotes from his Inaugural Address “…we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or transferring from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American people.” “The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories, their triumphs have not been your triumphs;” “From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this moment on, it’s going to be America First!” “The Bible tells us; ‘how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.’”

Here we are, 40 years later, standing at that border again. Will we choose to enter the Promised Land? God led us to the Promised Land with President Reagan (our Moses). And a second time with President Trump (our Joshua). Let’s go in!

You may ask “how do we do that?”. God says to focus on Him, pray for Donald Trump, pray for We the People and see what He will do!

Let’s learn from the Israelites and choose to keep our eyes focused on God rather than grumbling that things are not happening soon enough; the enemy is overpowering us; we are losing.

Without God, President Trump is powerless! Our battle will be won by the power of the Almighty God who has chosen Donald J. Trump to lead We the People into our promised land!

Here are two words that God has given me that I will share with you:

1.     God is calling on us to pray for Donald J. Trump He is using this time to draw him closer and closer to Him. He is using this time to comfort him and hold him in His arms. He is readying him to lead us into the Promised Land that He has shown us, we can have. President Trump is our Joshua. He has been fighting and fighting and fighting for us. At every turn there has been a fight. This is President Trump’s time of refreshing. He will be back to lead us into the Promised Land! Our enemies are frightened seeing how our God is leading us and we are following Him!

2.     God will deliver His people when we keep our focus on Him and keep His face before us. God delivered Israel from the hand of their enemies when they put their trust in Him, believed that He would do it and moved forward in faith. God doesn’t require a multitude in order to defeat the enemy. At times He used only one or two men, a few hundred or thousand of those who trust in Him. The power resides in Him, not in the many or the few. A mustard seed of faith can bring about great victories by the hand of God! People can be set free, delivered, saved, healed. God desires for us to seek His face, put our faith, our hope and our trust in Him. Hallelujah! He is good! He is faithful! When He acts no one or nothing can reverse it! The enemy falls at His feet! They are powerless before Him! Trust Him, seek Him. Believe that He is who He says He is. And believe that He will do what He says He will do! No doubt! He is faithful!
